DISCIPLINARY POLICY

Here in Wolves of Amarok we follow a three strike policy to ensure that our members are following our expectations and being respectful to everyone in the community. The three strike policy allows our members three chances to learn from their previous mistakes and have the opportunity to fix what they have done. That being said, there are two different types of infractions that can take place within our community. These infractions include minor and major infractions to our Rules and Code of Conduct and are not taken lightly.

While we do discipline our members, we never do this publicly. Wolves of Amarok respects our members' privacy and believe it is shameful to discipline a member in the public eye. Your feelings and enjoyment in Wolves of Amarok is of high importance to us.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the difference between a Minor and a Major infraction?

Minor Infractions can be accidental at times, taken the wrong way, or be learning opportunities for our members. However, they are still infractions and still count as a strike against you. Minor infractions while still counting as a strike can be learnt from and forgotten. A minor infraction may lead to a working rank suspension or a mute. However, this type of infraction typically doesn't last as long as a major infraction.

Major Infractions are not taken lightly and may lead to removal from the community, blacklist, Do not Hire, and membership removal. Major Infractions can include but are not limited to  Major breaches to the Code of  Conduct, Harassment, Sexual Harassment, Poaching, illegal actions, hacking / modding, etc.
---------------------------------------------------------------------

How does the three strike policy work?

Upon infraction our members are given their initial "Strike", mainly coming as a warning and or a message from a Squad Leader or higher up letting you know you have been given a strike, explaining why with evidence and telling the individual not to do so again or it may move into a more harsher action.

  1. First Strike: Warning from superiors.

  2. Second Strike: rank suspension of up to 2 weeks by a Squad Leader - Longer rank suspensions must be approved by a Spirit or higher The member must also recruit at least 2 new members into WoA per week suspended. Must attend and take notes at all meetings, will be expected to attend a workshops to learn from their mistakes.

  3. Third Strike: The Member will meet with their Ancient as well as Spirit and if available an Eidolon. The member and the leaders will discuss the members actions, come up with a plan of action to rectify these actions. The member may be Membership revoked at this time (Eidolon or higher approval), or placed on a do not hire and placed in another squad.

--------------------------------------------------------------------
What is a rank suspension and how does it work?

Upon being placed on a rank suspension a member of WoA will be expected to attend weekly workshops with Squad Leaders or higher to work on their performance and actions in WoA. They will learn how to respect others, become a leader, and game respectfully with others. They will take notes at any relevant meetings such as who attended and what was discussed. The member must also recruit at least 2 new members into WoA per week suspended.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Can a member appeal a ban or suspension?

Absolutely, our court team is put in place for just such occasions.
After receiving an indictment with a strike / suspension / removal / blacklist a member has 7 days to bring their actions and proof to a member of the court system. Using our court channel on the main discord. This channel is ONLY used to get in contact with a Court member. Spamming this channel will result in an immediate dismissal of the case. However, if blacklisted and removed from the community it is your responsibility to contact a court member with adequate proof through our applications on our website. Once you have requested a Court member they have up to two weeks for fourteen days to respond to you with a verdict.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Verdict:

  • Guilty - You have been found guilty of charges and all suspensions, removals, blacklisting will stand and remain indefinitely.

  • Not Guilty - You have been found NOT guilty and all charges, suspensions, removals, blacklisting will be removed. All strikes only to do with this case will be removed. Rank will be fully re-instated (if available) if not available you will be moved to highest available rank under said rank.

  • Guilty with lowered punishment - If you are initially found guilty for a crime, however your crime is less than or not as major as stated, your punishment will be lowered.

  • Guilty but not punishable - Member is not a member of our community and therefore can not be rank suspended, however, depending on the severity of infraction this user may be blacklisted.

When found not guilty an Ancient has up to two weeks to get the member back into uniform and into the squad (if applicable). If the member fails to reply or place their uniform back on in this time continue as if the member is no longer part of the community and not guilty of the indictments.
---------------------------------------------------------------------
All members of Wolves of Amarok should uphold and follow this Disciplinary Policy for any and all infractions without any exceptions!
